      Adonis is a bum.

Word on the street is that the guy just likes to hit up MTL clubs and **** white girls. I don't blame him, but he does not care about legacy or boxing...

The guy is trying to do the least possible to make as much money as possible for as long as he can with the least possible risk, that is literally what he is doing. He doesn't even care to get rich rich...just enough for his current lifestyle.

He knows that if he gets knocked he is done...one loss and Stevenson is out of the picture for good.

So he will continue to weasel out of any competitive fights until a cash out fight comes up or he is just forced to fight someone legit.

Nothing to be unsure of. Yes, the WBC has a checkered history, but this is written in stone. It was ordained not once, but twice, first Gvozdyk-Alvarez winner was supposed to get it, now it's winner of Gvozdyk-Amar since Alvarez ducked. If the WBC was going to pull bull**** it would have been when Alvarez tried to get them to go back on their word. The fact they stuck to it means no one should worry this time. The WBC still has a reputation to protect and this would ruin their reputation FOR GOOD if they went back on their word.

You all better not fall for this "elieder alvarez the wbc is doing me wrong" crap again.
Why would you ever compare Gvozdyk to Alvarez, or compare Arum to Haymon, ever? Arum put his biggest star fighter in the lower weights against prime Rigondeaux (Donaire), then offered to do it again (with Loma) even after seeing Rigo dominate Donaire. That's something Haymon refused to do many many times with Santa Cruz, Mares, and so on. Arum also has a long history of working with rival promoters to make very dangerous fights, whether with Don King for SRL-Duran, or more recently with Loma-Rigo, Ramirez-Imam, Loma-Linares, and many others.

            Haymon never does that either.

So what you have is, Arum boxers are willing to fight the best. They will fight anyone. They rarely duck. We can go all the way back to Pacquiao's run of taking on tons and tons of dangerous guys. Haymon boxers on the other hand follow the Floyd blueprint of low risk low reward fights over and over again just to keep bringing in the money little by little over a 10 year career which adds up, then they cash out at the very end. Haymon's boxers duck all the time, and Haymon almost never works with anyone on the other side of the fence.

So you can't compare at all. Haymon had Stevenson, Beterbiev, and Alvarez all in the same division, all under his banner, and not one of them fought each other. Not one. Gvozdyk-Alvarez was ordered, and as usual it was the Haymon guy who ducked, not the Arum guy or any other promoter's guy. That is textbook Haymon. Even when Haymon guys do finally take a big fight, it only happens once the opponent is old and past prime, and it still takes 3-4 extra months to negotiate like GGG-Jacobs, and scheduled dates have to be skipped over in order to pressure his guy into the fight, and then the Haymon guy leaves him right afterwards as if it only happened against Haymon's advice in the first place.

That is typical Haymon. So I understand that Haymon happens to advise a lot of your favorite boxers, and that creates a certain bias, but the facts on this are clear. Just look at Deontay Wilder, 40 fights in and the best opponent he fought was a 40 year old off PEDs Luis Ortiz, and he still needed a textbook corrupt Al Haymon ref to give him extra time to recover when he was hurt, and then let him smack his 10 foot long forearms on the back of Ortiz's head repeatedly, to get the win. Or do you remember Loma-GRJ? That was Canelo-Floyd all over again. Loma won almost every round yet GRJ got a 114-114 from one of the judges. At least with Canelo it makes sense since he's the cash cow, not that that makes it right at all. It isn't right, but you understand Vegas is protecting a cash cow. But GRJ? He's no cash cow, the fight was between a top Arum fighter and a top Haymon fighter, so the judging should have been down the middle, right? Except the judges literally treated GRJ like he WAS Canelo! And that again is textbook Al Haymon.

So you just can't ever compare boxers with other promoters to boxers with Haymon, or other promoters to Haymon. You can rest assured, Gvozdyk wants that title shot NEXT. If the fight doesnt happen for some reason, I can already GUARANTEE you, it will be because of Haymon/WBC bull**** (they are one and the same at this point. Haymon owns the WBC worse than Arum owns the WBO at this point), not because of Gvozdyk or Arum.

              Stevenson should consider retirement.

umm dont 100% bank on that chilemba wobbled gvozdyk and karpency nearly ko'd him...he doesnt change levels well at all and his chin stays up a lot...very little bend in the knees ...wouldnt be an issue if stevenson didnt have the long arms and fast feet, but he does..

stevenson gvozdyk is really only close bc the unknowns about stevneson age...if he had more youth i'd be sure if things got tought he'd just outfight og late
