Yea Canelo at 154 & when he was doing that 155 thing I think he was cutting nice. But I kinda see him like a Tank kinda dude physically. Like Canelo ain't winning titles in any more divisions & I don't think Tank has much chance of success past 140 & 140 might be pushing it even.

The rules are exactly the same for all boxers. They all have to make the contract weight and they all can gain as much weight as they want and their body can tolerate in the 30 hours or so between the weigh in and the fight. If the rules are followed there is no such thing as a weight bully. If a boxer thinks he is being bullied by giving up too much weight then he should drop down to a lower weight class. I think the rules stink but they are the rules and boxers who follow the rules and end up with a weight advantage over their opponent have not cheated or bullied anyone. Chavez Jr probably gains the most weight of any boxer. He has gained as much as 20 pounds between the weigh in and the fight. It doesn't do him much good because he shows up in poor condition and loses the important fights. Boxers who put on more than 10 to 14 pounds after the weigh in are probably doing themselves more harm than good.

You are talking about something that I ain't talking about.

          I agree people cut weight.

I agree some people cut weight better than others.

          I agree sometimes it backfires.

To me weight cutting is a sport within the sport of boxing. And it gives advantages to guys who are better at it via their weight cutting techniques &/or their natural abilities to drop weight/put it back on quick with minimal negative consequences.

My question remains what mfers have most benefited from weight cutting the most?

Right, everybody just throws the weight bully label on Hurd but I haven't really seen any evidence he blows up to astronomical figures. He does look notably big though but I'm curious to see how much it really is.

This ain't really a complicated question I was asking.

                Come on man.

Did you read the mfing thread?

Or are you suggesting everyone is losing the same weight & everyone has the same negative impact as others when they do drop a lot of weight & that everyone can gain it all back in a day & not be as f#cked up as others. All weight cuts aren't equal.

A few names I can think of , Quigg was always a skeleton at 122 and now 126, he was gaining a stone which is a huge amount for that weight class.

Another would be Jacobs, he has a big advantage at 160.

                      Canelo....

Kell Brook at 147, even though he never got the fights or made the most of it, I think he was incredibly strong at 147 pre-GGG

This one isn't obvious but Usyk at CW cuts a lot of weight, even though he keeps himself in shape between fights and trains, around 20-25lbs. He doesn't seem the most powerful or explosive but that's because of the movement and style, but you notice it when he does, and he can absorb shots well. I think when he moves up to HW and can fuel himself properly, he will be well into 230's and will probably end up 240's after a few fights and some muscle gain.
