The fact is, you give the benefit of the doubt to every fighter to start and work from there, he tested positive, that's one notch on the guilty scale. But the evidence that it was from meat are fact 1: while in mexico, 2: amount consistent with meat contamination. Apparently mexico is well known for this issue thus the leniency.

The problem here for you is, you're ignorant to any of this, you havent a clue how long this stays in the system , so him popping three days apart could still be from the same, single contamination. You dont know anything really. If someone who actually knows their sht like Conte hasn't said, "no no no, that's not possible, it's a lie" etc, then take that. Instead all he's said is that it's possible it's meat contamination, so give him the benefit of the doubt for the time being and investigate further I.e. test a hair sample. So that's the coat tail you should hang on, where's the adequate investigation.

Obviously if he tests positive again, after getting off with a warning, he should be punished for negligence and branded a cheat (officially).

So what your saying is since it's Canelo we ignore the positive and give him the benefit of the doubt and when he fails again which he did you give him the benefit of the doubt again and when he finally passes you proclaim he's good to go! Funny how that only seems to work with money fighters. Canelo and his team are either incredibly ignorant and stupid or Canelo just plain got caught. According to all reports this is a known issue in Mexico yet a top elite fighter with tens of millions of dollars on the line just ignored the whole issue and got contaminated at the local fast food diner. Now Canelo FANatics are trying to change reality by saying that this is the way drug testing happens, you fail, you retest, then you keep retesting. I guess only in boxing then because in other sports if you fail they'll test the "B" sample to validate the failure what you're trying to sell is failing multiple tests is ok and it shouldn't be. This fights going to happen in either case I wouldn't be surprised if the scoring once again favors Canelo whether he deserves it or not. It's just a shame in such a dangerous sport why such blantant cheating is allowed. Wouldn't surprise me if GGG knocks Canelo out they find a way to call it a no contest and I don't know of any honest fan who believe GGG can win a decision even if the performs a beat down every round. I think we can figure out why after seeing the scoring in the first fight and the scoring in the Mayweather fight. He should be suspended

Canelo is one of the few top fighters in the sport who does not participate in the Clean Boxing Program (Voluntarily year round testing by VADA).

He is only getting tested prefight, starting 8-10 weeks prior to the fight. That is absolutely ineffective and just a lame excuse to fool dummies like yourself. He also pulled out of VADA testing suddenly for the Liam Smith fight. Why do you think that happened?

Any top athlete knows that PED cycles are most efficient prior to a training camp (around 3 months prior to a fight). That way you get the full benefit for the whole training camp leading up to the fight. Clenbuterol for example leaves your system completely after 5-6 days. It can't be detected anymore, except by a hairtest.

Canelo fights on the same dates every year so he can cycle off at the proper time just this time he got caught off guard and VADA knocked on his doors a couple days earlier than usual.
