That's the point. Guys know that they will be tested yet they continue to get popped for juicing. They are always trying to use new undetectable peds. Not saying that Canelo is guilty, but the idea that he isn't guilty because he knew he would be tested, doesn't line up with the recent history of ped users.

Right, because of course he'd continue using THE SAME DRUG after already being caught.
Canelo might be an idiot, but he's not that dumb.
Cycles aren't rocket science - nor is switching.Comment

So that sounds to me like the first two tests administered were both positive, and now the drug is out of his system. That is what you would expect if he was doping.
Unless there is an article somewhere saying that he was tested by the two positive tests February 17 and 20.
That is important, because if he did a cycle of drug use thinking he could get clean before he was tested, the only shot at catching him is in the first tests.
If he was PEDing his cycle would have ended (based on the half life of Clen ) sometime around the 10th Feb which should have been well in time for it to clear before the usual 8 week pre-fight testing protocol: the question really is why he was tested this early, which is unclear - either he was on the CPB and it was just dumb luck that VADA picked him out of the hat a coupla weeks before his contracted pre-fight testing was due to begin or the language of the contract with GGG allowed testing to begin earlier.
Either way Canelo's team should have known that there was at least a chance of the testers calling round (admittedly a rather small chance if it was for the CPB 'year round' testing). To me that does tend to play in favour of Canelo having ingested the Clen involuntarily... or perhaps a spectacularly dumb display of hubris on the part of his team. Neither would surprise TBH.Comment
