A lot of Floyd fans, don't root for TR fighters because of that and their lack of meaningful opponents. Most of those idiots are Floyd boys. They are pretty close to a cancer in the sport, most of their ideology lies in the belief that black fighters (american blacks especially, Floyd force, what do you expect) are better, and they want you to say it and accept it. He's with TR silly. Bob pays the boxing media to hype up his guys and not criticize them.

Even worse than his pass for not being a draw, is his refusal to test himself. The guy is 160 pounds and was fighting bums at 140. Now that Prograis and Mikey are there Bud is moving up for a retired school teacher. Mikey was just bashed for going up to a division where he fought the #1 guy who was also bigger than Mikey. Yet, Bud weighs 160, fights Indongo and Postol, neither of which is any better Lipinets, and moves up to take a paper title, while ignoring ALL of the best welterweights. But he is called p4p for beating up smaller guys and he's allowed to move up to take easy titles.

Bud might be a p4p fighter, but he is 30 years old and the closest he's shown is doing just a little worse that Prograis did against Indongo. His best win was outdone by a freaking rookie.

And yes, he can't sell seats outside of Omaha and he can't sell ppvs.

The reason he can't sell seats or ppvs is because he never fights the best. Guy is bigger than Thurman and Spence, yet while Spence was breaking Brook's face and Thurman beating DSG and Porter, the p4p guy who is the same size was fighting Postol and Indongo. Its a joke.
