Do you think Canelo/Golovkin should be cancelled?

A boxing governing or sanctioning body should ban Caneloterol for being positive of a banned substance then the fight gets cancelled. Better to impose the punishment now.

Hard call really. On one hand I want to see it but on the other if we are going to brush failed drug tests under the rug because of financial loss then they should just stop testing. There are a lot of people supporting Canelo in this situation surprisingly but he knew the possible consequences of eating meat from Mexico. A failed drug test is a failed drug test in my opinion and he should be held to the same scrutiny as an Ortiz or Povetkin. As I've said before, I'm of the opinion they are all on something and I think Canelo just happened to get caught.

Not a chance. It's key to note that GGG could of pulled out the fight himself. GGG and his promoter don't want Canelo to be suspended or the fight to be canceled. So if the fighter he is facing doesn't think this was bad enough and wants the fight to continue no chance Nevada stops it. Especially when there is precedent in boxing to not cancel the fight as well as in other sports. Just over a year ago Francisco Vargas same exact situation over contaminated meat and his fight wasn't canceled. NFL, Soccer, ect same exact situation and the athletes were not punished. But it's laughable the GGG fans that are acting like GGG is being punished if Nevada doesn't call off the fight. You do realize that GGG doesn't want the fight canceled and didn't have to wait on Nevada to cancel the fight himself? If that's what he wanted he could of pulled out at any point last week. He is not being forced to do something he doesn't want. If everyone is looking the other way just to get paid then that INCLUDES GGG who is complicit in allowing the fight to continue. LMAO

No, if he tests clean from now on it shouldn't be cancelled. The small amount of that stuff in his system is not going to help him win the fight.

Nope test was before the fight was even announced and was trace levels of asthma drug not steroids or blood doping.now if he tested positive closer to the fight during training camp or the day before the fight then yes

Sure it should be cancelled. Otherwise boxing and other sports will be a free for all and rubber stamp for anyone wanting to use PEDs. Will it be cancelled? Nope.

no. but i do think something needs to be done to canelo. a suspension after the fight or a fine will do.
