Why would someone "shred" a guy recovering from injury?

Nobody "shredded" Tyson Fury with his terrible looking ankle from pulling out Wlad rematch. They semi-shredded him for depression/******* excuse though.

Nobody shredded Thurman for having elbow surgery. He's been shredded for the things he said since, but not for the surgery.

Injuries happen. If a guy gets "hurt" and then pulls out of a fight...shred all you want. If the fight gets hurt and the fight is rescheduled...so what? Sucks to wait more, but I'd rather both guys be at their best anyways.
