Why are the haters trying to insist that he was deliberately trying to cheat? His track record is clean, he does VADA, and he has never been dirty before. He deserves the benefit of the doubt.

The most likely explanation is that Canelo was off his diet since he wasn't in training camp, and he ate something that was tainted.

The real criminals here are the Mexican meat industry that is putting horrid chemicals into food and not telling the public. They are the ones that should really be investigated...who knows what other garbage they are putting in there.

again, that's possible, just like it's also possible that he cheated. He doesn't do vada year round and the only organization that requires vada leading into fights is the wbc. Who btw, Canelo oddly started a fake beef with 2 yrs ago and refused to fight for their title. But sure, maybe that's just a coincidence. VADA (the supposed experts who caught Canelo initially), should be heading that investigation, and should follow up with the highest testing standard possible..... be that hair follicle, butt-probe, whatever.....

Not if according to Gomez they have proof and documents for what Canelo ate. Gomez said he wasn't on his diet likely meaning he ate beef which isn't on his diet during training camp. Also it's not about rotten meat or low quality meat. Not sure why folks still don't get that you can get contaminated meat not just from a taco stand in the hood. In a 2016 study almost 33% of the slaughterhouses in Mexico tested positive for this crap. The problem is these farms don't tell the public they are giving it to the animals. The NFL player who tested positive was on vacation at nice hotel and ate only at restaurants not some taco stand. But listening to Gomez sounds like he ate meat because he wasn't in training camp and they have evidence/proof the meat he ate. So the details folks have been asking for they have and will be released but can't until Nevada is done.

wow, you're really going hard trying to make excuses for him. 1. If it's bad meat, he's a damn fool because he should know better since this is a common Mexican problem and he definitely has the money to avoid that problem. Whether he's on a diet or not. 2. Fighters with less in their system than Canelo have been suspended for a yr, so the amount found in his system in no way proves whether it was meat or peds. 3. What do you expect gomez to say? He's a golden boy employee. He's saying exactly what someone is supposed to say in defense of their fighter in this kind of situation. What do you think gomez would be saying about ggg though if ggg had tested positive?? Guaranteed it'd be 100% different tone. 4. Yes, this fight will still take place. Too much money involved and too many Canelo fans will continue to be gullible because in their little hearts, they desperately want to believe he wouldn't cheat. Everyone else, won't be as quick to rule out cheating though.

That's your assumption. But there's no proof they made a huge deal out of any opponents and their issues leading up to their fights. At least none that I've seen. And even then, certainly nothing on the level of Abel, GGG, management with all of their complaints and other comments, almost daily.
