The Loma fight wasn’t happening anyway and the parties empowered to make decisions know this. So of course they’re getting on with their careers. Or they can pretend to appease you.

Did Garcia think that Loma and Linares were going to sit around and wait for him to decide to fight them? He had a chance to fight Linares and passed. Now he's going to duck the winner? There are no big fights at 140.

But just a post ago you were talking about Garcia ducking. See, if you understand that this fight isn’t happening because Garcia and Arum aren’t working together any time soon, then why make that post in the first place? Why are you saying this “move to 140” as if he hasn’t already been there for his last two fights?

Garcia wants the big fights and that’s what he’s chasing. He was only going down to 135 for unification and the expectation was that he’d fight Linares next. Now that that’s been pulled out from under him, and Easter has to fight Commey, why wouldn’t he stay at 140? He’ll make his mandatory, fight Prograis and then move to 147 if he’s victorious.

It was never happening, which is why they both raced to make the Linares fight. Garcia thought he had the drop, but the Bobfather always has some tricks up his sleeve.

Garcia is obviously serious about going to 147 although I think he might want to holla at Memo or Canelo's dealer before doing that.
