20 quid going on molina kelly is welllll overated, he might win this one still but its definitely not a given and the odds are good so its worth a punt imo, Kelly in his last fight or it may have been the fight prior to that against the mexican kid he looked like trash to me and it was a hometown stoppage, kelly looked frustrated, they may be rushing him. I know booth is high on him but so what i like a gamble.

Look at Molina's record... wow. He's fought and beat a lot of names. He beat Ishe Smith and Kermit Cintron. He's older now, but his opposition ain't bad at all.

I remember them disqualifying hi in the Kirkland fight. That was a shame.

Good fight for Kelly but should beat him as he way past his best.

Are they sure they can get him into the country, is he not a registered sex offender?

Can’t imagine what Hearn was thinking when he made this.

Watching Molina is a sure cure for insomnia.

Kelly is one of the best prospects around

so was Lomachenko when they threw him in with a wily vet who was right on top of his game, who was ALWAYS going to be there for 12 HARD rounds

Arum looked like a fool for making that fight

Molina is not right on top of his game, which may be the difference...... but yea, crazy stuff from the promoters

NOT saying that Molina will win..... just saying that while I rate Kelly very highly, this is not the type of fight you want to push on a rookie at this point

if he pulls it off, great..... if not, then the promoter will look like a fool

I assume that it's a 10-rounder..... how many rounds has Kelly been in his career to date?

has he seen enough rounds to instinctively know how to react if he gets dragged into the trenches..... cut..... and blows his load by the 8th?

no idea why they would take such a risk at this point in his career..... I get that they rate Kelly, and fair enough..... but they rated Lomachenko before he got taken to the wire, and Kelly is not Loma

why would they make that fight, what does Molina offer ?

why risk having your prospect struggle, and being labeled as over-rated by fickle fans? surely Hearn has better local options?

His team all wanted it, these things don't all come down to Hearn, they've asked Hearn to get them a challenge. Then itll come down to money, how much are Joshua/Parker gunna let be spent on their undercard, to their credit seems quite a bit, one of the best UK PPV undercards in a long time. Then theres the 5-0 record, no one wants a loss to a guy with a record like that, unless theyre getting paid a lot, UK fighters will want more.

Put it all together and they've got Molina. It's a risk, but if he wins he'll learn a hell of a lot more in that fight than 5 of your usual fights for a guy at that point in his career.

Its only 5 fights in but Kelly will beat him. There's no point him fighting bums, he should be fast tracked to the top like usyk. The kid is something special.

all true, and I agree..... but, you don't take unnecessary risks with your investment
