Arguello stops him in the late rounds. Mikey doesn't have the style to beat Arguello who simply did just about everything better than Garcia.

Mikey is a good champion but Alexis is an all time great and a terrific puncher with both hands and a highly skilled boxer as well. Mikey would lose by KO in my opinion.

Whew, Arguello was a monster at 130-135.

AS much as I love Mikey, I might have to give it to Alexis, who didn't start to reach his power limit until he challenged Pryor at 140

Arguello had brain snapping power coming from pinpoint accuracy. He would knock Mikey out. And against Pryor, Mikey would be overwhelmed by Pryor's swarming style. Pryor used angles as good as anyone ever has.

Mikey is a classy technician but at this point in his career his best win is....Salido? Haven't quite seen him in the sort of fights that would allow us to measure him against the greats.

ever notice how mikey doenst fight any boxers with craft? he only fights guys who just stand there in front of him. his toughest fight was against cornelius lock who moved and made him look bad. i think this guy is chery picking styles that suit him. he would get a "better offer' and never fight arguello

I've raised that point and referenced that fight before. Since then it's mainly been guys with no movement and slow feet. Broner was the fastest of hand but he throw a minimal amount of punches and slow feet too. His match making has been very calculated. I thought he also didn't like good against Burgos

4 titles yet only 1 defense, no unification's and somehow didn't fight Uchiyama, Gamboa, Linares despite promoters trying to work on those fights.
