ESPN puts BHop at number 3 p4p

i just thought it was interesting to see after the discussions we've had on this board. most of us had him at like 5 or 6.

    i don't hate it.

i think he is but they kept tszyu ranked awhile after the hatton fight, he still might be ranked actually. im too lazy to check. but BHop is the #1 lightheavy (obviously) and number 3 pound for pound- here's the write up

      3. Bernard Hopkins (47-4-1, 32 KOs)

      Light heavyweight king
Hits: The former great middleweight champion is bowing out in storybook fashion. After dominating at middleweight for a decade and making a division-record 20 title defenses, he lost a pair of disputed decisions to Taylor last year, then moved up two weight classes for his career finale. So what does he do? He kicks Antonio Tarver's butt all over the ring to claim light heavyweight supremacy in a big upset at 41. Simply amazing.
Misses: Had Hopkins fought Taylor with the same kind of fast start and overall aggressive style, he probably would have defeated Taylor in their first bout. But that's water under the bridge.

        Thats retarted.
Tarver was number 8 or 9.
How do you, the number 11-15 p4p beat the number 8 p4p and become number 3???
        Foolish.

I like Hopkins but I dont think Ive ever seen a fighter get so much credit for losing 2 fights and Ive never seen a guy like Taylor, get dissed so much for winning 2 fights. I also think his complete list is ****. He just keeps the same guys on there all the time and all the guys he likes. Morales just got killed 2 fights in a row. Neither were close. There is no way you can make the pound for pound list if you get dominated in back to back fights and one was against a guy who just lost to Freitas

not really, how can you have winky ahead of taylor?

and does mayweather remain #1? it seems like he hasn't fought in years.

I think it has to do with the way he dominated a p4p fighter and how close his matches with taylor were.

Actully hes fought more recently then Tony has, and he fought better competition than Tony has in his whole life!

Floyd has faced 8 world champions.
More then anyone else except Barrera, who has looked lackluster of late.
