After Lomo beats Linares. Garcia Lomo needs to be made next.

garcia is being paid very well to do his own thing. thats why he chose lipinets. fighters are usually motivated either by money or by pressure and i dont see him caving in to the pressure since that would jeopardize his easy paydays. garcia is gone. hes basically in a different sport.

Mikey just said he's staying at 140 lbs after lomo linares is announced. He wants no part of lomo.

Mikey said a few weeks ago he'd leave the division if Linares chooses Lomachenko and now he's reiterating that point and saying he's looking to 147. He felt Linares was somewhat easy for him but couldn't quite pull the trigger on signing that contract. He should have fought him and then Lomachenko would have had to go through him now the lightweight division will run through Lomachenko and you have to beat him to be #1. Garcia's moving to 140 is his way of saying he doesn't like a Lomachenko match.

Robert Garcia said Lomachenko is a fight for 4 years down the road. Basically they want to be fully fledged welterweights and make Loma come up as far as possible and get old. They don't really seem to be all that into that match-up. Makes sense. I think Robert himself has said Lomachenko is his favorite fighter and his opinion for pound for pound best. He'll have spoken to Mikey about those kinds of things.

Im a fan of mikey but i dont think he wants to fight Lomachenko. His own brother said fight wont happen until 4 years from now. Mikey keeps moving up divisions everytime Lomachenko moves up. He doesnt want that fight, he said he wants linares. But after lomachenko beats him he will probably say he wants to move up to 147.
