Vences v. DeLeon did better than Quigg v. Valdez. It's not about star power when it comes to ESPN, NBC, CBS, etc (unless it's Manny or Floyd of course). It's about lead in programming. I predicted Loma's last fight would do over a million because the lead in was the Heisman Trophy ceremony. Yesterday's lead in was the college basketball conference tournament. That's why Bob won't get off that May 12th date for Lomachenko. It has a great lead in

Exactly right good ratings benefit boxing in general no matter what network it's showcased on. But some people love to argue over it man just let them hash it out they do this all the time lol haha

Pretty hilarious how the “free tv” guys arent here slurping up the people who put this on. I guess if its not PBC its not cool enough.

These are only metered market ratings which tell us very little. The demo and household numbers are more meaningful, but those won't come out til Tuesday. From these metered market numbers you might assume these fights did somewhere between Wilder-Ortiz numbers and Matthysse-Kiram numbers but given that there's a massive difference between those fights' ratings it's best to wait for more detailed info to come out to gauge this events success.

Yep. And the Spence card that did 6 million with the USA Olympic basketball lead in.

Viewership and ratings are fickle. GGG did 1.3 million views vs. Wade and Monroe Jr., but views vs. Brook was less than 900K. In the end, I hope all networks have great ratings for boxing so they continue to set aside dates for fights in the future. It's a win-win when ESPN, HBO and SHO all do good ratings.

Bruh espn is in most housholds. I don't even have showtime. That's y PBC needs to put wilder on CBS to build him up. F that premium channels. Most millennials don't have cable.

Don't want to hear the excuse. Windmill did a .8 - bottom line... he better get on his knees and hope Joshua blesses him - Joshua makes $20 mil+ without him against anyone.
