If Arum and Espn wanted to make a lot of money they would put Manny vs Mathysse abd Loma Linares on the same card. Call it Top Rank vs. Golden Boy. That would be a huge ppv. Either way I really like this fight. Loma is moving up and challenging the top guy at 135. Maybe that would silence the doubters, but the ones who would still doubt go against every White boxer anyways. Im sure they both had to pressure their promoters to do this fight. Wonder how Hbo abd Top rank will work out the scheduling conflict. Either way it will be great for boxing.

To be fair Linares has 7 title wins in a row and beat Anthony Crolla back to back. Hes not the best champion in the sport but is probably the top fighter at 135 currently. People are already starting to discount Lomas win before it happens

Easy work for both Mikey and Lomachenko. Linares has been KO'd in all 3 of his losses. One in the first round, another in the second. Once he feels the pressure he will succumb.

Crolla wasnt a pick em fight. linares dominated both fights and dropped him. Kevin Mitchell I dont even remember. Linares has improved a lot since his younger days. Luke Campbell was a huge lightweight southpaw with a gold medal.

The reason he has a chance vs Loma is that Loma is a featherweight about to fight at 135. Linares is way bigger than him, longer reach, just as fast, and more powerful. Loma only has one way to win and that is skill, but Linares is very skilled himself.

If Loma wants a tough opponent, he needs to fight Gervonta Davis. Gervonta has power and speed. Loma would be in pool of his own blood by round 8

Mayweather is not gonna let Davis fight Loma. Period.

Davis’ power will be a lot like Gary Russel Jr’s or even Nicolas Walters’ power when Davis fails to connect with anything but air the entire fight vs Lomachenko. There is too much of an experience gap and Davis would be embarrasssed in a fight with Loma. #TrueStory
