When Canelo abandoned VADA testing for the Smith fight, they accused the B-side of abandoning first (?) and explained:

“We tried to start the program; unfortunately, it was late,” Eric Gomez, vice president of Golden Boy Promotions explained to BoxingScene.com on Sunday. “There wasn't enough time to get the full benefit of VADA testing.”
