God damn, no. Quigg would have landed that ounch without the weight, maybe even landed more of them had he been lighter.

That was a cleaner than clean punch. Hopefully he doesnt have permanent damage, I've never seen someones jaw go missing before

Valdez was 136lbs by the way which many people in this debate have conveniently left out.

Also no one is listening to the fact that Quigg had a stress fracture in his foot as the reason he didn't make weight. You are right people literally don't care too much about the facts, they believe the angle they want to.
More like 146-147 to 136. Quigg had 10lbs on him.

Valdez team didnt even want him to fight once Quigg turned down the next day weight check... It cost him 20% and he still got the loss.

Stop making things up, it was reported on all the media outlets in the evening that he was 142 lbs.

I take that back. He was 142.2 lbs. Still a bad look to lose the fight on scales. If he pulls this BS again you still gonna root for him???

Good fight and I'm glad it happened.

Valdez is going to have a captivating albeit hopefully short-ish career. But he has ALL the intangibles.

It is remarkable to fight for that long with a broken jaw.

Glad Quigg didn't win though. You simply can't not make weight but he is borderline autistic in his focus to boxing if they say he broke his foot he definitely did. He is a man who literally can't hold a conversation about anything else.

Also Quigg isn't some malevolent mastermind weight bullying tiny Mexican men. Some of the posts in here are silly. People love having an axe to grind.

Ultimately, Quigg got clearly beaten but even if he made weight he'd still be a bigger man than Valdez. He's bigger.
