Views on video analysis for boxing

Hi everyone, doing a research paper into scoring in boxing and I read a paper by Thomas Huaser in 2015 in which he talks about video analysis within boxing. This is something i don't ever thing would work, I mean you can't stop a fight mid way for 5 minutes like in football or tennis. What are your thoughts on it??

    Thanks

Don't recall that article by Hauser, but then again I'm not the biggest Hauser fan as he's become a shill for HBO in recent times.

If I'm understanding it correctly from your brief description it sounds like there is a in depth going over of a video of a round to "judge" it. If thats correct then yea it seems like it'd be hard to manage it with people wanting to see the fight at the pace they are accustomed to + not waiting to long after a fight to know who officially won cuz the judges are still watching round 8 or w/e.
