I'd like to see Regis get some more experience under his belt before fighting a guy like Mikey.

Mikey on the other hand needs to fight the guys at the TOP of not only his division but boxing in general. He's called out guys at 135, 140, and 147. He needs the names, he's way too skilled p4p to be thrown into matchups against Lipinets and Prograis, those two should be fighting each other instead and shouldn't be anywhere near a ring with Mikey Garcia.

Garcia needs to show more, and he needs to do it against the big dogs, not the up and comers. There's plenty out there for him. He needs the names.

Back to Prograis, this was a big test and he passed with flying colors, now he needs to start collecting straps.

Mikey would box his ears off if they fought this year. Regis needs more experience.

Mikey is in full businessman mode. He will NEVER take that fight til Regis is a much more high profile guy. And at this point that means he'll have to win a legit title & maybe unify a belt or two maybe even idk.

I don't hate Regis' chances I know that much. Dude can hit & I was surprised with some of the things Broner was hitting Mikey with so if Regis hit Mikey with those types of punches then the tide of the fight could shift.

It'd be another big step up for Regis if it happened next doe so who knows cuz however impressed Regis has looked when you look at his opposition you can't get THAT excited or assume too much about how he does vs tip top guys quite yet.
