It wasn't murderers row but you can only beat what's in front of you and he beat the guys with all the belts easily.
Fair points. Like I said, I'm not hating on Bud (I'm actually a fan).

We can say what we want about Bud's resume but if he were still at 140 Bud would most likely be a favorite over Mikey, Prograis and co. There is a reason why Spence vs Bud is already projected as THE fight at 147lbs down the line (yes Bud must prove himself at 147 first).

He literally won the IBF belt with the first punch that landed and then fought Ricky Burns who's got no power and was washed up.

Prograis vs. Ramirez (should he beat Imam) is going to be one to mark in your calendar. That's a great fight.

Josh just beat wazzisname very impressively to hear English fans. He's ready for a title run. This is just what Taylor needs for his career.

You think Bob is going to risk putting Ramirez in the ring with Prograis if he beats Imam?

I don't have much faith in that fight actually happening.

Can you translate the first part into English for me?

I don't think he has proven it at all. Dude was 160, and took him longer to put away Indongo than this prospect did. First, Bud has had a major weight advantage in all his fights. Canelo size difference. Literally, putting on 20 pounds from the weigh in.

Second, who the hell has Bud fought that justifies a ranking on the p4p list? Indongo? Postol? Gamboa? Get out of here. Bud has fought no elite opponent EVER. That is an undeniable fact. Making lower divisions that are incredibly weak while young, doesn't make one great. AB did it too. He got put on the p4p rankings too. Then he fought a top opponent for the first time in Maidana. Then the second time he fought a top opponent was Porter. The third time he did was Mikey.

Beating Brook in his hometown, by breaking his face and then humiliating and emasculating Peterson like Spence did is worthy of a higher ranking than a guy the same size whose best win is Postol or Indongo. In fact, Thurman is probably smaller than Bud and I would place him above Crawford also, as Porter and DSG are more impressive than Postol and Indongo.

Bud might be a top p4p fighter. So might Prograis. I'm saying no one is the #1 or #2 p4p fighter for beating a bum like Indongo. Fighters should have to earn their spot on p4p rankings. Bud's p4p spot has been bought and paid for by TR, not from his resume.

It's the mandatory so I think there's no choice.
