Earn another shot by getting KTFO?

How did he earn another shot? By getting knocked out? As the great Gil Glancy used to tell his fighters after a loss, as they begged him, "You gotta get me this guy again!" and Gil said, "You just had 'em". I'd like to see the fight again, and I really like Ortiz, but to earn a rematch Ortiz has to, as Holyfield used to say, "Get back in line". B/c there are other fighters now who have earned a shot.

I’d personally like to see Wilder head overseas & clean Dillain Whyte up in a sold out arena!!!! Go fight in Joshua’s back yard and do a better job on a common opponent! That would really have the boxing public licking their chops!

I’d love to see a rematch but not befor The Joshua or Fury fights. Or even Parker to be honest

It is sad. That little bit of time from the doctor, had less to do with Ortiz's loss, compared to how hesitant he was in Round 8! King Kong should've went "ape ****" on Wilder! Hindsight is 20/20!

I would love to see a rematch but after Wilder fight Joshua and Ortiz will have to get back in line it is what it is. In the meantime Ortiz should wonder why he couldn’t finish wilder off he had a minute in the 7th and full round on the 8th. I think personally Ortiz was shocked wilder was still standing after that beating and didn’t go down And punched himself out and didn’t have enough energy for the 8th.

I don't have much desire to see a rematch. Ortiz had his shot and Wilder beat him.

If anything he should prove himself first before he deserves a rematch. He already had his shot and he lost.
