Only a blind man would think Pacquiao won that fight. He probably won 1 or 3 rounds at the best. Atlas sometimes acts like a ******ed man and his ass licking of some fighters brings temporary blindness.

Atlas became too much a distraction it's a turn off for most casual fans. I thought pac won but I saw a close fight. The rants atlas goes on and how he tries to hammer his own agenda down yout throat might fly on small Friday night fights but not for big fights that ESPN is trying to make in boxing. And yes bias announcers definitely effect the perception of the fight in fans minds. As a fan I am used to tuning out most of what these announcers say anyway but if you a newbie to the sport you can be heavily influenced. Pac did not dominate horn like atlas tried to portray. It was a closer fight then that.

Teddy Altas doesn't like Manny, always said fairly negative things about him.

That said, Teddy is known for going over the top, he's like a nasty, Steven A Smith on steroids, that's his MO, that's what he does. On the night of the fight Teddy was particularly annoyed because his ESPN partner and color-man was saying ****** irrelevant crap just to hear his own voice. The guy was annoying and dumb.

Did Teddy go over the top? Yes, and he took it out on Horn. But lets be honest, Teddy was expressing what everyone else was already thinking. The fight was competitive but Manny landing the more meaningful shots and should have gotten the win.

In the Crawford Matchup Horn's style of roughing a guy up isn't going to fly. Terrance isn't Manny, hit him low and he'll retaliate with some real damage.

I don't like pac, but if you think he only won 1-3 rounds of that fight, you're out of your mind.

It's not about liking but saying the truth. Horn won every round up to mayne 6th or 7th. Pacquiao didn't know where he was and couldn't get away from the pressure. He then started fighting in one round and the ref thought Pac was about to knock out Horn. Horn then recovered and started beating Pacquiao again. The fight wasn't even close.

ok, you're aware that the majority of the world disagrees with you though right?? And trust me, I don't care that horn won. I'm tired of pac and would prefer that he go away. But he didn't deserve to lose that fight.

I don't know why folks can't separate the 2. Doesnt have to be one or the other. You can think Manny won the fight AND think atlas did a horrible job. They are not mutually exclusive. It's just a bad look to have 1 guy yelling ranting and trying to shove his agenda down your throat. ESPN wants a professional broadcast. You would never see a NFL or NBA announcer acting like teddy has. They are trying to bring in a new audience into boxing.
