Making his fifth appearance on Showtime, Regis Prograis (20-0, 17 KOs) takes on former double world titleholder Julius Indongo (21-1, 11 KOs) in Deadwood, SD, on Friday night. The fight is for the interim WBC junior welterweight title, which basically means it is a semifinal bout for the WBC title. The other semifinal will be between Jose Ramirez (21-0, 16 KOs) and Amir Imam (21-1, 18 KOs) next weekend.

Regis Prograis is the BEST fighter at 140lb division. Period. I am taking ALL bets with Prograis including tonight's fight against Indongo. Im dead serious. My email is mbanks0000@gmail.com.

    There's a killa lurking at 140. #rougarou

He's a good fighter but need to beat a good fighter first. Indongo is a good starting point. Would like to see him against a Garcia before he would be called the best in the division.

If he is as good as you believe, I think Taylor vs Him would be a decent fight.

When I hear a fighter say everyone is easy fight for him I question his confidence...who is he trying to convince others or himself? No one is easy at the top and he is still unproven.

Only in boxing would an interim belt be awarded before the actual vacant title is. Sanctioning bodies are a joke. The winner of Prograis v Indongo should be the true WBC champion in my opinion.
