I disagree that it doesn’t make sense for Spence. He literally has nothing else going on. Thurman has no plans to fight him this year, or probably ever. A Crawford fight is a political nightmare that I don’t see happening anytime soon. A Brook rematch is better than anything he has on the horizon.

Just making sure, you think Spence going up to 154 is a good idea? lol I think that would be rough on his body to go up and come back. All the money is at 147. There are a lot of names to beat on at that weight. Thurman can't stall forever.

Kell should have kept his mouth shut. The problem here is, if he DOES win a title now he absolutely has to face Spence and because he talked it will literally be the most pressure he's ever had in his entire career.

I think Spence should make the move to 54 permanently. He’s a big guy that’s probably gonna end up fighting as a middleweight one day. Why stick around 47 waiting for a fight that may or may not happen? Thurman has made it clear that he’s not fighting him this year. Which means that potential fight is like 12-18 months down the road. I have ZERO faith that a Crawford fight is ever gonna happen. What other big fights are there for him?

He'd just get in the back of the line at MW. You know that. Let's not play naive here. He can fight at 147 against a wide cast of guys and clear $1 million per fight.

No point in going up and complicating things. Just stay disciplined, make weight, and feed on WWs for at least another 2 years.
