As I stated in another thread, Alvarez has lived, eaten and trained in Mexico his entire career. Why has he only now drawn a positive? If Golovkin had been the one to fail the test, the blowup from Canelo & his supporters would be huge.

If the fight is allowed to continue, other fighters will eventually get the same treatment once their percieved value gets high enough.

We've got evidence this isn't a trace amount, but very much a megadose amount at 12-14x higher than the cyclist that got caught/banned. The only reason he got caught is because Sanchez wanted early testing. Canelo's trainer is a former butcher (lol). Butchers know the industry. If the fight is allowed to go happen, this is going to turn out bad. You can't have this kind of precedent floating around out there.

Fůck your venue, fůck your hotels, fůck your restaraunts, fůck your casino's, fůck your economy. There are lives at stake here.

Canelo needs to pay the price.
Do you have an official statement that the amount of clen found was more than trace? Even so, boxers who have been suspended for banned substances usually were caught with trace amounts, weren't they?

LOL! Which came first the chicken or the egg?

Some better tell Canelo "una limpia" has a very different meaning in Mexico than a boxer trying to clean his system.

imo you can't prove whether or not it was the contaminated meat of not

still imo he should be suspended at least for 6 months and now would have to be implemented in a 365 program.....

Too dangerous of a sport to allow juicing whether intentional or by accident. If a drug is banned because of it's performance enhancing effects who cares how it got there, if Canelo was dosed file a criminal complaint against the individual but why should the opposing fighter have to accept a failed drug test from the opponent. Both parties are well aware of tainted meat in mexico , when there is tens of millions of dollars on the line there should be some control expected from these "professionals". I already expected more crooked judging now we have to accept failed drug tests too! Is this boxing or WWE wrestling?
