The fact that his trainers are known butchers and own meat markets makes it even more obvious that either cheating was involved or that we are truly dealing with some of the dumbest people in boxing.

Let's be fair, everyone knows it has nothing to do with meat. The only people in the world that believe it are the same 7 people that thought he beat GGG.

How do we know that hasn't happened or will happen? Just because it hasnt been released publicly don't mean it hasn't or won't happen later on I mean canelo was just notified this week. My point is nobody buying from the farms including butcher shops know, the famers lie about it don't disclose it. You are basically just taking a famers word.

Surely Canelo isn't the only affected. It's not good for human consumption, and could severely affect much of Mexico eventually leading to fatalities or at least illness.

Not getting popped ever before leads to more likely this being contaminated meat. But remember once you eat this meat it only stays in your system a few days. Maybe he's ate contaminated meat before but wasn't testing right after, maybe he hasn't ate contaminated meat and this was the first time. Who knows. But according to WADA and every drug expert his levels were very low and within range of other test studies from those who ate contaminated meat. And he lives in maybe the contaminated meat capital of the world lol

Canelo is doing the same thing every athlete does when they get a positive test. They make up an excuse. No one ever admit they were trying to get an edge up in competition and this is the best way to go about it.

He isn't the only one effected it effects the entire Mexican population but most are not athletes who are tested so they don't know it's in their system. What the long term effects of this stuff on humans and kids? I don't know. But scary stuff that they are serving this shyt to people.

but if you're a butcher! you would know where to go to get good meat! you go to the same source that you always go to!!

I get what you're saying, but I'd offer that there are many unknowns and assumptions being made here.

1. How much beef had to be consumed in order to test positive for the amount of "clen" in Canelo's system.
2. Does Canelo only eat beef at home? Does he only eat the beef that his trainers (the butchers) provide?
3. How long does "clen" stay in your system after a cycle? The test days are random, but the day that random testing starts is known by the camp.
4. Is it possible that the trusted source for beef cut corners and didn't tell anybody?
5. Did the amount of "clen" in Canelo's system decrease between the two "failed" tests. (p.s. I'm assuming a report of two fails is correct)

Probably cause canelo was naive and thought this would never happen to him. Millions don't wear seat belts despite all the evidence of others who died because they didn't have one on. They think they are invincible and that it will never happen to them.

There are short-term effects as well, which are from benign to absolutely horrendous.
