Comments Thread For: Golovkin: Canelo '******' and 'Shameful' For Testing Positive
Gennady Golovkin rarely says anything negative about his opponents. Now that Canelo Alvarez has tested positive for Clenbuterol, though, Golovkin's gloves are off. People actually thought Golovkin was siding with Canelo in the other thread? How much more obvious could him saying "this is a big problem in this sport" be?
GGG is right; Canelo should be disqualified, penalised or both. He's an idiot, a cheater and disrespectful to the sport. I know boxing has little to no integrity now, but bull**** on this level simply can't be swept under a global rug.Comment

How so? Butchers don't raise and feed the animals. They only buy them and butcher them. They don't know what they've been fed. They're butchers not farmers.Comment

Once again, as was the case with Luis Ortiz, this Canelo positive for clenbuterol would be an excellent time to collect a hair sample & have the scientific data to consider as part of the potential consequences. Why does there seem to be a lack of interest in doing hair testing? https://t.co/jG85fnyFc8

Testing 4 clenbuterol in horse hair is now available for $85.

A reference range for human hair could readily be established and utilized in sports. This would provide scientifically valid historical data to be considered. #boxing https://t.co/f0uGSYi2ql
