Eh. Benavidez is one of my favorite guys around right now & I think he gots a ton of potential, but I don't like this fight.

I understand why its in play. Chavez is a huge name even if it has Jr behind it. But this isn't a competitive fight & Chavez Jr is gonna be canon fodder for Benavidez. I guess its a better keep busy fight that make his resume look sexier vs some guy we've never heard of before.

Its not the greatest fight ever, but in terms of growing DB's profile it could be huge. Especially considering the type of beatdown DB is capable of putting on

He shouldn't fight him. Chavez isn't in anybody's top 15. Champions should fight top 10 contenders. I think he would give Chavez a bad beating. It would just be a money fight. I am a fan of Benavidez so I hope he fights a more worthy challenger instead.
