All of this would be solved if there was zero tolerance for cheaters.
The first time one year ban.
The second lifetime ban.
Boxing is not like other sports people die.

if Sanchez wanted to take a stand against dopers he would call off the fight. but just like everyone involved he wants thay cheese.

the way the WBC and WBA jumped out the window to protect Canelo tells you everything. they called him innocent before anything was established.

that tells you how "thorough" an investigation would be.

Canelo should be required to produce the exact meat he claims was tainted. if it was consumed it was eaten 1-2 days before the test. he should point out where he ate this. if at a restaurant that whole establishment needs to be shut down and investigated because eating tainted meat does have side effects.

but of course all this sht is just wishful thinking. there will be nothing required of Canelo they declared him innocent simultaneously while breaking the news.

Absolutely .....if these guys were so 'clean' then would they be even more careful about eating 'contaminated' mexican meat.
