Contador claims the clenbuterol in his body was the result of eating contaminated Spanish beef.https://theconversation.com/alberto-...enbuterol-5246
The Australian rider will face no further action after the UCI accepted he ingested clenbuterol via contaminated meat
They all use the same excuse. Every.Single.One.Of.Them.
They quite literally used the same excuse as Clenelo.
Exactly and Spain doesn't have tained meat problem so nobody bought it. It's not the same as Mexico which has well documented rampant problem in their meat. So comparing a cyclist from Europe to this is just ****** and why he was suspended and countless others were not. Provide sample traces in proven contaminated meat cases which vada did and canelo traces are considered low and within range from past examples.Comment

Yup but if you have an agenda it's easy to make up BS and come up with stuff comparisons with euro cyclists like that has anything to do with this case. LMAOYou've provided evidence that they said was lacking, and experts to back up your claims....yet they still want to doubt you???
lol. Some of these dudes are just butthurt fans with the inability to think rationally. Don't worry about it. The statements you've made are clear and logical to anyone with a brain.
But sure idiots on these boards know more then the experts that say canelo had low traces completely consistent with tainted meat while living in the tainted meat capital of the world. And these agencies didn't make up these rules just for canelo they existed over half a decade before canelo was tested.Comment

Anyway here is Spain.
The Spanish Guardia Civil have arrested 34 people in Tenerife and Gran Canaria on su****ion of running a doping ring that has been illegally selling a clenbuterol-based product. Those arrested have been charged with fraud and crimes against public health.
Is it Safe to Eat?: Enjoy Eating and Minimize Food Risks by Ian Shaw (page 174)The illicit use of clebuterol came to the fore between 1989 and 1990 is Spain when 135 people were poisoned by clenbuterol residues in meat.
. According the Food Safety and Inspection Service, in 1990, there were 135 persons in Spain that reported illness after consuming meat that was later found to have traces of clenbuterol. Another incident involving 140 people was reported in 1994Comment

Spain is not on the list of countries that have a problem with chernobyl in their meat. That's a fact so any cases of cyclists in Spain or other European countries has nothing do to with canelo or cases in mexico. Again this is from VADA, USADA, and all the top drug testing agencies. Not sure why you keep arguing this fact which is the major factor left out comparing this to cyclist. For an idea of how bad the Mexican meat is check out victor conte tweet. There were more examples than one

58 out of 200 slaughterhouse's in Mexico were found in 2016 to be producing contaminated meat. This is a huge problem for the anti-doping authorities. https://t.co/NIZd475brp
