    Derranged,
I would like the fight to go on as well, but here's the problem, Clenelo will still have the clenbuterol in his system.
So that's not fair. We need to think about GGG's fair share here. Why should he get in the ring with someone that gonna have assistance with Stamina & was able to cut weight but not muscle. Think about it GGG will make the weight but in doing so he will eventually lose some form of muscle mass. That is not fair. It is easy for us to say let the fight go on, but understand that the level of playing field has been impaired/tainted.
It's the same when fighters don't make weight & the fight is still allowed to go on. I think that's wrong! As a former fighter, if i went thru all the hard work & sacrifice to make weight, why should I fight him cause he can't make weight? Fighters that don't make weight are going against the integrity of the game. Back in my time if you didn't make weight you keep trying until you make weight. And once you made the weight , if you was weak...well that's on you. You must make weight. No exception. If you can't make weight then don't compete in that weight & move up to the next division.

He's 30 which is up there in age for a halfback.
Right. They should have looked to the draft instead.

I've thought about this and I think the answer is that Canelo should be blindfolded and fight blind, Daredevil style.

Anyone in the crowd who believes that he tested positive through tainted meat is free to shout instructions about where in the ring GGG is. However anyone who thinks the meat story is the biggest load of BS ever found outside a cattle farm will be able to shout false information to add to the suspense.

Funny how there's people here that still plead his innocence too.

Wow, that's pretty damning evidence. It is funny how quickly wbc and wba came to his defense, even though nobody did any research yet.

Definitely sounds like Canelo was doping now.

A fair solution is to let Golovkin come in 2 or 3 pounds over weight if as you say Canelo benifitted from the drug. But how and who determines that??

this excuse is as old as the tainted supplement excuse.

do people still buy that chit?

He can't help it. Mexicans are cheaters by nature. I mean look at the border crossings, they think it's actually ok.

That's true and something to consider moving ahead but I don't know if in this particular instance that Canelo really conspired in order to abuse clenbuterol and blame it on the meat. i don't know how common it is to abuse clenbuterol in the sports world but it seems far fetched to assume as opposed to that he simply ate a batch of bad beef.
I think poster should be less eager to jump to conclusions in general, as if everything were a two sided debate.

The amount in his tests, it would take more than a "batch", it would be more like a herd of cattle.

It was 10x more than what other athletes have been banned for.
