That’s the only issue that I have, check him in the corner. Not after the bell. That creates unwanted scrutiny. Hopefully they have learnt from it.

Wilder was in no man's land with the ultra skilled, crafty Southpaw dangerous Cuban King Kong Ortiz!

Most heavyweights would've been out in the 7th but he showed his reiliency and refusal to lose!

The commission did the right thing, Wilder seriously took a beating for nearly half of a whole a round and the ref gave Ortiz plenty of chances!

It was an awesome fight, i hope to see Ortiz fight again and hope he stays clean and Wilder definitely is the most dangerous heavyweight in the division, bar none!

exactly, that was the game plan.
Wear your opponent down and take him to deeper waters because of his age..

Wilder was sick. I thought he had overtrained for the biggest bout in his career, abusing the calisthenics part of the "boxers workout" unintentionally losing the weight to the point of skeleton look-a-like. Nevertheless, Wilder had the presence of mind to know how & when he wanted to land his bombs on Ortiz and he eventually did!.......Ortiz even gave Wilder his props for weathering his barrage of shots.......A healthy 220/222 Wilder wouldve given Ortiz a quicker exit and thumpin'. Joshua better not underestimate the 214lb version of this dude and alleged extra time to recover, because Wilder has never "relied" on extra time in the ring to recover from anything, instead he usually blasts away his opponents in little time taking out recovery time - every time......

Is there any actual evidence Deontay was ill? Did he say he'd overtrained on calisthenics? I know Ortiz suffers from an illness, he's under treatment for it. I thought Wilder came in lighter for better cardio.
