Not quite clear in this case I think, since testing was part of the deal between Canelo and Golovkin. Certainly it seems like NSAC will have a say in whether the fight goes ahead (under their jurisdiction, at least)and the relevant sanctioning orgs could choose to not to sanction the bout, I guess, but that's about it.

EDIT: That's cool, man, just a general call for compulsory year round testing. Details may be a little problematic at the lower levels of the sport due to expense, but for championship level fights (of all levels including the dicey regional, continental and intercontinental straps) and eliminators a lack of testing is inexcusable. In light of recent deaths in a sport I sincerely care for, a sport which can be dangerous and would benefit from year round drug testing to enforce a somewhat considerable level of safety as opposed to the current climate. There are boxers who's names I won't mention that have failed tests which in itself is bad but to consider the fighter having an artificial advantage in an already physically damaging sport is diabolical and potentially life endangering it needs to stop. Year round random testing by Vada could ensure an even playing field and not to mention save lives in the process. If you are passionate about boxing please support in whichever way is best for yourself.
