HBO Boxing needs new decision makers. They are burning their brand to the ground. They should have had Joshua a while ago. Why else would HBO make the Hearn Deal? Problem is Showtime is not letting him go. With the momentum Showtime has, I am not sure why they wouldn’t fight tooth and nail to keep him. As fans Wilder vs Joshua happens much easier on Showtime. He is way too valuable to HBO Boxing for them to risk a loss. We should all be fighting to keep him on hot Network. That will ensure the Heavy weigh showdown of this decade actually happens!!!

Not to mention they already have Jacobs and Miller as opponents for GGG/Canelo and Joshua. They need all the help they can, because Showtime is killing them!

Showtime has the far better matchups.

I just hope HBO doesn't sign Anthony Joshua because that pretty much will kill the Wilder fight. They need to make that fight fast before network rivalries ruin everything.

Why would he come to NYC to fight for far less than his guaranteed $10-15 million. Who's going to pay his purse? HBO has constantly cut the boxing budget. They're not going to guarantee him enough money in any package they could offer. He's not PPV here at all.

Additionally, Hearn isn't dumb. Coming here to fight in front of 12k people would be silly when he's doing 70k - 90k in the UK.

              Calling complete b.s. on this.

Showtime is not killing HBO.HBO Gave up on Boxing and have been cutting the boxing budget year by year.HBO's Main focus is Original Programming,Boxing was not raising enough money for them. However i believe it was still so amateurish of HBO to let Mayweather go in 2013.They could've,should've matched that offer from Showtime.Maybe they wouldn't have Canelo though

How would people in London know about HBO(a American Broadcaster) signing Joshua.Hearn wouldn't be ****** enough to release that information and i doubt the bidding process has even begun. It will probably begin after Parker and when his next opponent is announced.
