Ratings for HBO's boxing doubleheader Saturday night seemingly were impacted by direct competition from premium-cable rival Showtime. HBO's main event, Sergey Kovalev-Igor Mikhalkin, attracted a peak audience of 674,000 and an average audience of 599,000, according to ratings revealed Tuesday by Nielsen Media Research. Can't wait to see what HBO offers Joshua, especially after Canelo's failed drug test!

There was some serious leather landed in the fight. Lucky it never turned out to be another Roman Simakov incident. Kovalev took some shots but he was smacking Mikhalkin's face like a fkn swingball.

This is annoying. There was probably an extra 200k views that could've went to Showtime. Oh well.

                Bivol looked solid.

I have a feeling HBO are gonna blow a lot of money to launch Joshua in America. They can then say they have the top 3 Marketable/entertaining and most popular Boxers at this current time,Canelo,Golvokin and Joshua.

From what I hear out here in London from people I know who are around is circle is theres a massive chance he goes to HBO after the parker fight and has his US debut at the MSG end of August.
