Tainted meat. Suppose that he's telling the truth...

As in, suppose CLENelo did eat tainted meat.

As in, his team imported the organic meat, injected it with the good stuff. Cook it up, eat it as part of the nutrition. But it was at the tail end of a cycle off, so it hadn't gotten all the way out of his system, this the low trace amount.

Because unless he got a craving for carniceria food all of a sudden, there's just no other answer.

    For those who don't know...

Thanks for that. Spanish looks so natural to me - even as a non-Hispanic - that I forget it isn't as easy for everyone.

"Carne asada" - you know it's meat.

      Carne, Carniceria... Same base word.

In México the 70% of the meat is contaminated.

        The organic meat too.

It's very hard to buy meat of other country when you are living in México.

People was saying the same sh.it about the power of Nery and he showed that he was a powerful fighter in the second fight vs Yamanaka .

        Stop with his bulls.h.it

That thing about the contaminated meat is a big problem in México.

        It's a mafia.

Who knows but since they are professional athletes and they know about their country in regards to the contamination of meat over there, why are they falling victims of that same issue? If you want to keep everything clean then you would take every precaution like get your meat from other countries, train in America (Which he now says he would be doing), don't eat meat as part of your diet etc

For me this low trace, contaminated meat excuse is outdated.

The other issue is that other athletes have been punished for lower trace amounts.

This isn't a question related in any way to the Canelo situation, just a bit of curiousity, but if the meat is actually 'organic' then surely it can't be contaminated with Clenbuterol? Unless the point that you're making is that much of the meat in Mexico sold as being organic actually isn't?

Nery and nelo both cheated imo.

                  This excuse is played out

Even if he is telling the truth it's still a problem. It doesn't change the fact that he tested positive. Either they put in a loophole for the possibility of tainted meat or they accept the results as is. A failed test is a failed test.
