Former super featherweight champion Gervonta Davis (19-0, 18 KOs) expects a very tough outing when he steps back into the ring on April 21, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Davis will collide with another former champion, Jesus Cuellar, as they battle for the vacant WBA "regular" super featherweight world title. The WBA's "super' champion at 126-pounds is dangerous hitter Alberto Machado of Puerto Rico.

Damn, that's one ****ty career then. "So far."

I agree with Davis though. He is, and you can't really expect Floyd to put him in with anyone better seeing as Davis needed corrupt refereeing and illegal Wilder smacks behind the head to save him from a loss against a journeyman in his last fight.

Davis doesn't even do VADA testing, and he's still not very good. Just imagine what he would look like if he had to do hair analysis to prove he was clean. It's amazing the low quality of some of the boxers that certain promoters are trying to foist on fans in this era of boxing. "Tank is going to be the biggest star in boxing" they say. The sad thing is, boxing is so corrupt right now, I don't even doubt them when they say that. But it doesn't mean I think Tank is good, what it means is I seriously fear for the future of boxing right now. It is getting SO corrupt in such a blatant way, I could totally see Tank Davis being the biggest star in the sport five years from now, but the sport won't even be boxing anymore, it will be its own version of WWE.

Cuellar is serious competition so this is a very solid matchup.

Machado is the current "regular" champ.
Davis and Cuellar fight for a vacant "super" title.
If that makes sense. (I know it doesn't)
