Because of his massive popularity in the sport they will excuse him. "Tainted meat" excuses are already being thrown around.

Boxing needs to make an example of him. The sport has been corrupt and a joke to the outside world for too long. If they punish the biggest name in the sport people might actually take notice.

At the very least they should give him the Luis Ortiz treatment - suspend him and allow Golovkin the choice on whether or not he still wants to fight him.

It won't happen though. Watch him walk free and the boxing world come to his defense.
