PEDs stay in the system for months. May 5th is only 2 months away. At this point Canelo would be done cycling PEDs anyway. What VADA most likely caught was trace amounts left over from the very end of his PED cycle where he got sloppy. VADA's extra testing protocols could theoretically ensure Canelo is clean for the GGG fight in the future, but only if the fight is moved back to September. That is literally the only way. They need to have Canelo doing extra testing for six straight months leading up to the fights, with zero breaks or windows where he could cycle PEDs, if not 12 months. Anything less than six (or at least four if we're being super lax about it) is complete bull**** and we can all expect him to be just as juiced as ever. 2 months is bull****. Meaningless. 100% meaningless.
I hope all the true boxing fans out there put the pressure on VADA to move the fight back otherwise the fight is meaningless because we can all expect Canelo to still receive all the benefits of his cycle on fight night May 5th.
