This is true, many of us have suspected he uses duiretics. Not suprising at all to me. The way he would cut so much weight and rehydrate over 20 pounds was always fishy.

I remember when Liam smith met Mayweather in the UK, and he explain to TBE that before the weigh in Canelo looked small and dehydrated, and that the next morning of the fight he couldn’t believe how massive he looked, he was like he couldn’t recognise the guy that weighed in next to him. So yeah how he was squeezing himself down to 155 was a surprise to me, but with this new development it all makes sense now.

Good point. It’s also used to aid breathing and increase stamina.
