Let's just put this out there, ggg is tested year round as wbc champion because it's a requirement of the wbc. Canelo isn't tested yr round and went out of his way to inexplicably refuse to fight for the wbc and drop their belt. Now, all of a sudden he tests positive not even 2 weeks after the fight is announced. Maybe it's a coincidence, but doesn't look good.

WBA does exact testing. And they were tested 7 times blood and urine last time. Either way he was getting tested WBA or WBC.

in the article, they said that Canelo had tested clean DOZENS of times over the last few years.....

but I was under the impression (listening to Golovkin fans) that Canelo did not undertake any form of drug testing?

not that it matters, and not that it gets Canelo off the hook for testing positive this time..... but it would add some context

Canelo needs to be investigated, and the tainted beef excuse needs to be squashed once and for all
