Doesn't the winner GOTTA fight Alvarez? Or did Alvarez get paid off again & the WBC just said f#ck that guy & removed him from his spot. Alvarez might be among the richest guys in boxing just off of taking step aside money.

Gvozdyk is fight for the interim belt. So he is gonna be the mandatory to either guys if he wins. He's gonna enforce the rules and demand for his shot at the belt unlike Alvarez.
