Comments Thread For: Wilder: After What I Did To Ortiz - Joshua Definitely Won't Want It!

DEONTAY WILDER says Anthony Joshua is running scared of a mega-money shot at his WBC heavyweight title. The big-punching American moved to 40-0 by stopping the previously undefeated Luis Ortiz in the 10th round of their classic in Brooklyn on Saturday night. Wilder has now successfully defended his WBC strap seven times. Wilder has now successfully defended his WBC strap seven times.

    I think Wilder is right
Hearn is going to pull a Bob Arum and milk AJ as long as he can before he makes that fight. Hopefully the marinade starts wearing thin with fight fans and the demand is to over whelming where Hearn has no choice but to make that fight.

Doesn't want what? A bore fest? This fight was the biggest rubbish, most of the fight people were booing because nothing was happening, wilder looked very ill, like he was battling AIDS in the late stage..no skills nothing what so ever...ortiz is about 50 years old and he nearly finished him...just look at ortiz's body..he looks like he retired 15 years ago...I said it before the fight that wilder would win but after watching that boring circus now I'd bet my house and everything I owe that Joshua would have an easy time with him.

Sounds like you will end up being one of those homeless Ricky Hatton fans that had to move back into their parent's home after losing the lot!

Wilder nearly KTFO in round 7, only saved by the bell, and needing a home cooked ref to give him bags more extra time to recover at the start of the next round. Yup AJ surely wont forget that. Birdlegs wont get saved like that in london.

Firstly he is hyping his win up massively. He deserves credit but this is ridiculous!
Secondly AJ has a fight in the coming weeks so not point even starting negotiations.
Thirdly I doubt he is scared to fight you, he has openly stated he wants to unify, Wilder will get his shot he will just have to wait unfortunately. These things always take longer than expected.

If wilder can’t get Joshua he should try to get Fury or Parker in Vegas for the Fall.

Wow! I have to agree, Deontay even dropped Luis Ortiz with a JAB in the second round weighing in at 214! will this euro-bum's glass-jaw hold up? I don't think so.

Instead of talking why doesn't he contact Hearn and ask for a reasonable split?
