Comments Thread For: Wilder, Joshua, Fury, Parker and The Heavyweight Mix

By Tris Dixon - IN our odd, fragmented little world that makes sense to us but not to those on planet earth, we have four heavyweight kings. Lineal ruler is the inactive but steadily-returning-to-fitness Tyson Fury. WBC champion is Deontay Wilder. WBO leader is Joseph Parker. Anthony Joshua holds the WBA and IBF belts. Each claim they are the best, and one of Parker and Joshua will be able to maintain their assertion after they meet on March 31 in Wales...

"Lineal ruler is the inactive but steadily-returning-to-fitness Tyson Fury" You my friend are being too generous to boxing's ultimate con man!!

Until he actually comes back and steps up in the ring with someone legit like an Ortiz (gasp)....he should not be mentioned in the same breadth as a Joshua or Wilder.

He is actually good comedy if nothing else. That, i give him.

I’m actually eager for Fury to come back and fight Wilder or Joshua so he can get KO’d and return back to crack promptly

Don't think Fury has even announced his first opponent yet?

me too, but it’s gonna take awhile. That is some timber he’s carrying right now. Good thing is, he’s still young for HW standards, and has never taken any real punishment. I give him a good chance at returning to form.

              People keep underestimating Fury.

Actually a fair statement. Can you imagine Wilder as a Welterweight? Even if he retained his power (in ratio of course) I don’t think he’d even make golden gloves because he’s still not much of a boxer even after 40 fights. HW’s can really look good because they are top of the food chain but seriously some of the boxing is atrocious.

Pretty good write-up here. You opened it with a quote that I saw in a comment on one of Lee Wylie's tweets. Good pull. "He does everything wrong, right."
