The only way Winky can win is if he dominates a la Trinidad or Mosley I. If the fight resembles Winky-Vargas or Winky-Mosley II, the decision will go to Taylor. HBO and boxing "need" that. A young undefeated "star" conquers another future Hall of Famer. The script is already written. Hell, it was written before the first Hopkins fight. I respect Taylor, but it's hard to back a guy with so much help (i.e. unfair support). Who do you think has had a tougher road to the top? Hell, who has ever had an EASIER road to the top than Taylor?

I think Taylor will throw enough to get the decision, almost no matter what. The judges of course will be looking for any reason to score rounds for Taylor, and unless Winky jabs and counters him to death, there's no way he can win more than one or two close rounds.

The deck is incredibly stacked against Winky, let's just hope Lampley and Merchant don't dogpile, although with Jim's mancrush on all things Olympics, I fully expect his PBP to sound like Hopkins-Taylor I.

I will be attending, so I won't have to deal with HBO's coverage, which will be nice, but then again I will be in an arena full of Taylor-diehard Arkansans and Taylor-bandwagoning Memphians.
thats cool, i'm gonna be in attendance as well, so mark one more Wright fan down that'll be there..
