What is karma and points?

Ok quick question. What is the karmas purpose here, and what are the points that people have? How do you go about giving/taking karma and points? Just curious. Thanks.

karma is a type of middle eastern food, very similar to shawerma. Pretty good.

and the points are so you can bet.
