Will the BLack American Audience Pay PREMIUM Pricing for AJ vs WILDER?

Is it possible to beat McGregor vs Mayweather or Pacquiao vs Mayweather for the iconic presence of Wilder vs Joshua?

When watching many HBO or Showtime fights from Tyson or Holyfield, there was a huge crowd, most in attendance, of black American fans.

Is is wrong to assume that if that era of fans paid premium pricing in Vegas, why wouldn't they pay $500-10,000 per ticket (Denzel Washington, Nicholson type buyers, the rich) for Wilder vs Joshua?

Isn't it easy to assume that the splurging of such an event will easily be justified in Vegas?

Or is it still too early and both Wilder and Joshua need more marketing to beat McGregor vs Mayweather?

This won't be big fight in America... like it will be in UK.

They are still relatively unknown to casual audience there.

Wilder couldn't sell out a 19k arena with $50 tickets and Joshua is probably less of a draw in America having never fought there. Lets be realistic here.

Kovalev and Ward both can't sell 1,000 tickets when fighting unknown opponents but had huge fights against each other.

No they didn't. They were flops. They sold about 6k tickets for the 2nd fight and 100-200k ppv.

What about the first fight? The numbers were HUGE for them and HUGE for boxing. Neither Ward nor Kovalev are PPV stars or very popular.

Wilder and AJ are a lot more well known, heavyweight champions, they would EASILY sell out any arena in Las Vegas. 2,000,000+ PPV buys guaranteed, US and UK combined.

              Are you trolling?

              1st fight.

"The fight generated a live gate of $3,341,980 from the sale of 10,066 tickets (with 1,636 complimentary tickets given away and 2,525 unsold tickets), 165,000 pay-per-view buys and $10,7 million in PPV revenue."

              That's not huge, that's a flop.

It's debatable who is more known. Both Ward and Kovalev were getting 1+ mil viewers on HBO before they fought.

More than 10,000 (mostly expensive) tickets compared to less than 1,000 is not huge?

Nope. Neither is 14k which Wilder-Ortiz just did when comparing it to 90k Joshua can do fighting anyone in the UK.

                    It doesn't matter.

Las Vegas can pay a bigger site fee than anybody else, which will more than make up for any lost ticket sales.
