As long time Dirrell fan he looked shot and unmotivated. i'm never one to ask for a fighter to retire but I think he should reconsider his career as he will be used as a gatekeeper now for up and comers. Probably get fed to Benavidez right after.

Dirrell had no answers. He had the left hand ready to shoot the whole fight but made little attempt to throw it. Uzcategui was open to be countered but Dirrell never took advantage of it.

I can't even begin to understand what happened at the end of the fight. Dirrell wasn't going to win the fight but he could've continued.

Uzcategui is a really good fighter and hits really hard. He started marking up Dirrell's face with the very first punch. I would love to see him against Benavidez. That would be a brutal fight.

Wasted potential

Dirrell showed a lack of heart in that match. He didn't really want it once he felt Uzcategui's punches which were getting thru his guard all nite. I dontbsee Dirrell ever living up to his potential. He's already 34 and has lost whenever he's stepped up in opposition and doesn't have that extra gear to will himself thru adversity.
Uzcategui is fun to watch. He'll definitely beat Truax for that IBF belt and a fight with Benavides will be a lot of fun tho I think Benavides takes Uzcategui
