I think Wilder's balance throws a lot of people off, they think he's getting hit with punches and he is but they're not clean, he gets hit a lot to the chest, shoulders, etc. and it knocks him off balance.

Practically everything Ortiz threw Wilder answered, I also thought he may have been robbed of a knock down in round 2, looked like he caught Ortiz with a jab coming in.

Seems like I have to explain this after every Wilder fight. Wilder may not pass the eye test but he's highly effective. He lands a lot, and generally always outlands his opponent by a wide margin. He didn't land as often this time due to the elite skill level of Ortiz, but there is no doubt Wilder ALWAYS looks better on the stats and scorecards than many people think he should.
