His side would accept 40%.
Finkel revealed at the post fight presser that Hearn promised to send along some numbers and then never did.Comment

There aren’t any other big money fights out there at HW.
I could see him accepting less to get the fight signed though.
I don’t see him traveling to the UK for it however. That fight is going to happen in Vegas or in Brooklyn. A fight that big has to happen in Vegas imo. It would be the best fight for AJ to invade America.Comment

You may not think it will be that easy, but that exactly what may end up happening. Assuming AJ beats Parker and then Miller, and Wilder goes across the pond and beats Whyte, there will be nothing left to keep them from fighting, probably in the UK. I would favor Wilder at this point. Peace.Comment

14k fans in the arena vs 80k fans. Plus 1 belt on the line vs what will be 4 belts. But Wilder wants 50/50??? He shouldn't even get 30% of the split if you ask me. I hope the WBC forces him to fight Whyte because if not, Wilder will run his mouth for a year while fighting the lowest guy in the top 15 of the WBC he can find. Sure we'd all love the AJ vs Wilder fight but this dude has to get real at some point. He needs AJ a lot more than AJ needs him. Wilder needs AJ for money and validation. AJ already has money and the 4 belts are validation enough haha. But go ahead Wilder fans, fool yourself into thinking that Hearn and AJ are running from Wilder. Even though he is fighting for another belt. Is Wilder running from Whyte and Miller? Both of them have been calling him out for two years now. And I love how Wilder fans keep saying that AJ will fight Miller next even though Hearn clearly said it will probably be Povetken next up because he's a mandatory.Comment

Wilder should ask for 50/50.

Not saying that's a good thing at all, as it gives Joshua the option of milking the gravy train by fighting anyone with a pulse and just leaving Wilder where he is.
So Joshua can hardball Wilder. Basically Wilder needs Joshua, but Joshua doesn't need Wilder, so if Wilder is going to insist on 50/50, the Joshua side can just say '70/30, fight is in the UK, call us when you are ready to say yes, or don't call at all', and just wait for a couple of years.
During those years of waiting Joshua will keep filling stadiums; Wilder will keep talking, and risk to both is if one of them loses.
Joshua's risk of losing is arguably lower if he keeps his competition level to the ongoing list of mandatories, the likes of Pulev etc (not sure if he's a mando, but he's the highest ranked contender in the IBF list).
Meantime Wilder just has to run into a half-decent boxer to potentially lose. His punches carry power, but they are telegraphed and he leaves himself wide open to counters. I would venture to say unless he focuses more on his technique his days are numbered.
And Joshua also has the added incentive that he's visibly getting better in each fight, so another advantage for him to wait.
Khan's demand of 70% to fight Brook was basically his way of making sure the fight didn't get made. Joshua will also demand 70% to make sure this doesn't get made - unless Wilder says yes of course......but he sure isn't going to get 50%, or even 40%.Comment
